House of Savannah Spa and Salon, Newcastle

After a few stressful weeks at work, my sister and I decided to treat ourselves to a relaxing day at the spa. We chose House of Savannah in Newcastle, which is situated just outside of Old Eldon Square. I’ve previously visited this spa for a manicure with gel nails, as well as a blow dry in the salon, but have never been inside the spa or had any treatments. We booked a spa ritual, which was one hour private use of the spa and then one hour of treatments, as well as another blow dry and head massage.

My Autumn Essentials

Autumn is well and truly here and, much to my surprise, I’m really feeling the autumnal vibes this year! Maybe because this is the first year I’ve really been in the blogging sphere and, as we all know, bloggers go crazy when those leaves start to fall. My Student Lock-In deals!

Lush Fresh Face Mask – Product Review

I’m sure I’m not the only beauty lover out there with troublesome skin and know firsthand how disappointing it is buying face products that won’t or can’t work well when my skin is in a bad condition. I went through a particularly long period in the summer where my skin was experiencing more acne than usual, and on a trip to Leeds after having treat myself to the Mac Studio Fix Fluid foundation I decided to see if I could find a product that would allow my skin to be a healthier, blank canvas to allow my foundation to sit nicer and look better on my face.

The Lush shop in Leeds had such a fun, exciting atmosphere and all of the staff were very happy to recommend products. I came across a fresh face mask pot and decided to give it a go – and I’m very glad I did.
